What makes LessonGateway different?

Where LessonGateway really differs from other sites is that we provide an open community where classroom teachers can share their experience and expertise. Many teachers will use LessonGateway to find websites to use in their own teaching, but those who choose to contribute - whether rating, reviewing, or contributing to the database - have the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience to benefit students and teachers, not only in their classroom, but throughout the world. We believe this community will grow into a leading destination for teachers to find and share the best online educational resources available.

How did LessonGateway.com get started?

LessonGateway.com is owned and operated by teachers. After many years of scouring the Internet for terrific resources, and having been approached by our colleagues time and again for lists of great sites in their subject areas, it seemed a natural progression to create a rich, active and community-driven resource that would serve this clear need in the educational community.

LessonGateway.com is by teachers, for teachers. Our goal is to provide an environment where teachers can quickly and effectively find the best resources for their needs and provide feedback on how successful they found these resources worked for them.
