Lingo is an extraordinary tool for anyone learning a foreign language. Students can open any web page on the web and click on any word within the page. Like magic, a bubble pops up with the meaning of the word in the language you’re studying (current options include English (ESL), Spanish, Italian, French, Polish and German) Additionally, students or teachers can create an account and can save the words to a study list and practice with flashcard “games”. Lingro’s functionality can even be used on .txt, .doc (Word) and .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) files. If a word isn’t in the dictionary users can add it, so that other users have it available.
