Created by the Maine Historical Society, this website is an excellent source for teaching about Longfellow. The site includes several different sections including a biography, a searchable database of his poems, as well as information about his life and influence. The Teachers section gives teacher-developed lessons to bring Longfellow into the English, Social Studies, American Studies, Art and Music classroom.
