Don't Buy It: Get Media Smart (PBS Kids)
Targeted at grades 3-5, this site encourages students to think critically about media (television, radio, magazines, the Web, advertising) and become smart consumers. The activities are designed to provide students with some of the skills and knowledge needed to question, analyze, interpret and evaluate media messages. Includes sections on Advertising Tricks, Buying Smart, Entertainment and What You Can Do. Supporting teacher resources are provided.
