This site is designed to encourage guys to read. The sites author Jon Scieszka, an author and elementary school teacher, believes boys don't like reading because they don't get to choose what they want to read and therefore often have to read books they don't really like. When they do they do find something they like to read, people sometimes tell them is not really reading. The Guys Read website is designed to help boys:
