ReadWriteThink
This site was created through a partnership of the International Reading Association and the National Council of Teachers of English. Contains a searchable lesson plan database. Each lesson is research-based, and contains a detailed instructional plan. The lesson plans are written for a teacher but also include classroom ready materials for students use such as worksheets and links to websites. Also contains a number of engaging online activities ("interactives") for students that can be used either with the lessons on the site or alone.

As an elementary teacher I find this site to be an excellent resource. Some sites that I go to say they have lesson plans but they are very brief and don\'t contain any supporting materials and are virtually useless. Not so with Read-Write-Think lesson plans. They are written by practicing teachers, outline all materials required, give detailed instructions with estimated time frames, and have links to supporting resources and/or downloadable pdf\'s. The lessons are searchable by grade level making it easy to find lessons that will work with my students.
