Students work with authors, editors, and illustrators in workshops designed to guide them in developing their writing skills. Topics include biography, descriptive writing, folktales, mystery, myths, journalism, poetry, speech writing, and book reviews. Teachers guides provides lessons for using in the classroom as well as reproducibles. There are also links to supporting Scholastic products that are available at extra cost. The site also provides a place for students to publish their writing online.
