This site is designed for teachers who wish to extend mathematics concepts beyond the textbook.   The site had lesson ideas, examples, and downloads for math that embrace active learning, constructivism, and project-based learning while supporting the acheivement of math standards.  The site uses Google Earth (a tool that provides clear satellite views of the globe in an interactive 3D environment) to develop student's higher level thinking skills.  The focus is on mathematics, but many of the lessons lend themselves to interdisciplinary activities also.
