ActionBioscience.org includes up-to-date and topical peer-reviewed articles on a wide range of biological topics. The site provides lessons written by teachers to accompany the articles on the site. Each lesson indicates the appropriate student level (middle or high school) and contains questions related to the article, as well as a variety of student activities that promote active learning and inquiry into current issues in the biosciences. The site is endorsed by the National Association of Biology Teachers. As well, articles are cross-referenced to the NSES Correlation Charts.
