DNA Interactive
DNA Interactive is an educational web site resource that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the discovery of the DNA double helix structure. The site has six sections: Code, Manipulation, Genome, Applications, Implications and Timeline.
Each section is split into modules and has video interviews with scientists, 3D animations, and text to present and explain DNA science. Timeline is an interactive, animated exploration of genetics and molecular biology from Mendel and early genetics to current biotechnological advances. Supporting lesson plans are provided for teachers and if you sign-up for a free account teachers can create a personalized web page and use a "lesson builder" tool.
