My son's eighth grade teacher gave the students an assignment to create a comic book using four elements, N,C,O, and H and create superheros on a fictitious earth-like planet.
Unfortunately, he did not like the assignment....

I see absolutely no use for this in my classroom. So what - there's some comic book character who quoted an element. This affects such a minority of my students it's not worth mentioning.
