This site was created by the American Physical Society, an association of American Physicists. The Physics Projects section of the website includes Adopt-a-Physicist (connects high school physics students to people with bachelors degrees or higher in physics via online discussion forums), Century of Physics Timeline (depicts the major advances in physics during the twentieth century), Color Me Physics (coloring book that introduces children to physics and some of its most famous characters - includes a coloring page and short description for Copernicus, Galilei, Newton, Franklin, Bouchet, Sklodowska Curie, Einstein, Fermi, Goeppert-Mayer, and Feynman), Einstein's Miracle Year (an award-winning 15 minute movie that celebrates the three revolutionary ideas that Albert Einstein presented in 1905, Physics@Home (introduces students to some of the physics of your everyday world) and PhysicsQuest (a middle school competition that consists of 4 physical science experiments centered on a mystery).
