American Memory is an online archive of over 100 collections of rare and unique items important to America’s heritage. The collections contains millions of primary source documents,films,photographs, and recordings.
The Learning Page is designed to help teachers use the American Memory Collections to teach history. It offers information on using primary sources in the classroom, activities, discussions, lesson plans. Lesson plans are listed by theme/topic/discipline/era. The Features and Activities section projects as well as interactive online activities for students.
