GradeConnect is a free online gradebook/course management system. Not only does it have a flexible gradebook for calculating marks but it also provides pages for announcements, assignments, a calendar, links to recommended websites, and a database to manage the assignment of textbooks. Reports can be accessed online or printed out as pdf's for distribution to students and parents. GradeConnect also has a email function that allows teachers to email a single student, all students in a course, or all your students. GradeConnect is free and is supported by advertising, however, there is an upgrade option to eliminate the advertising.
