I have been using open office for a couple months a find it to be a good replacement for Office - the word processor and spreadsheet program are very much like Word and Excel, the presentation program called Impress isn't quite a slick as PowerPoint but still does the job. The program does a excellent job reading my old Word, Excel and PowerPoint files.
